How it works
RiskHound is an early-warning system built on Arc. It turns onchain evidence into understandable risk signals without inventing scammer labels or treating missing data as safety.
Principles
- Every risk signal is backed by showable onchain evidence.
- AI never invents risk; optional AI only explains existing evidence.
- Addresses are never labeled scammer/rugger without sufficient evidence.
- Risk level and link confidence are separate dimensions.
- Missing data is not treated as safety.
- A CCTP source burn, Circle attestation, and Arc destination mint are separate states.
- No trade execution, no custody, no investment advice.
What RiskHound checks
- Exit risk: sell-path failures, transfer restrictions, freezes, blacklists, and honeypot-like behavior.
- Contract control: ownership, administrative powers, proxy upgrades, mint authority, and dangerous callable functions.
- Liquidity: pool visibility, LP concentration, removable exit liquidity, and suspicious add/remove events.
- Supply ownership: top-holder concentration, deployer holdings, linked wallets, and insider clusters.
- Creator history: previous deployments, first funders, connected addresses, and evidence-confirmed harmful activity.
- Bridge intelligence: Arc-targeted CCTP burns, Circle attestation state, independently observed mint state, and high-value recipient activity.
How it helps prevent a rug
RiskHound does not block a transaction or guarantee safety. It reduces avoidable risk by exposing control, exit, concentration, liquidity, and creator-history signals before a user decides to interact.
Critical findings cannot be hidden by a low average score. Every finding keeps its evidence, confidence, data-source health, and known limitations visible.
Risk levels
- Critical: severe issues like blocked sells or dangerous powers
- High: serious concentration or control risks
- Caution: notable issues; dig deeper
- Lower risk: fewer flags found (not a green light)
- Limited data: we could not see enough to judge
Limits
- Arc DEX registries may be incomplete. Liquidity USD can be unavailable.
- Sell simulation without a known router is transfer-path based and may be inconclusive.
- Outside-chain history is shown only after the address relationship and evidence are confirmed.
- Bridge Watch is a recent Base CCTP sample and must not be read as an all-time queue total.
- Social signals are contextual only and never replace chain evidence.
